MGNet’s Scholar and Pilot Awardees Research Presentations at the Virtual 2025 MGNet Symposium

During the recent virtual 2025 MGNet Symposium, MGNet's Scholar and Pilot Awardees presented their latest research. These presentations delve into the complexities of Myasthenia Gravis, offering insights into ongoing research and potential advancements in treatment. 

Jan D. Lunemann, MD, MBA, presented his research on the "AntibodyOMICS in Myathesia Gravis."

Justin M. Leach, PhD, presented his collaborative research titled "Incorporating Rescue Therapy into the Statistical Analysis of Clinical Trials in Myasthenia Gravis." This work was conducted in collaboration with Immaculada Aban, PhD, Gary Cutter, PhD, and Michael Benatar, MD, PhD.

Gianvito Masi, MD, presented his collaborate research titled "Molecular and Functional Characterization of MuSK Myasthenia Gravis IgA Autoantibodies: Novel Insights into Disease Mechanisms." This work was conducted in collaboration with Kangzhi Chen, MD, Minh C. Pham, Annabel Wallace, Kenneth B. Hoehn, PhD, Richard J. Nowak, MD, and Kevin C. O'Connor, PhD.

Melissa L. Smith, PhD, presented her research on "Defining immunogenomic signatures of AChR-mediated Myasthenia Gravis."
